If you already run a WooCommerce store, you probably want the WooCommerce plugin instead. If you mainly bill clients, look at invoices and payment links.

Questions
- Do I need an existing website?
- No. That is the point. You can arrive at SaturnShift with no website at all, describe your business, add what you sell, and publish a store.
- Does this work for services, not just products?
- Yes. Services are a first-class item type, not a product with the shipping switched off. A service can be bought directly from your store without a delivery address, while a physical item can collect one and carry a shipping charge. A consultant selling a strategy session and a retailer selling a boxed product both work, and your store is worded accordingly.
- How does sales tax work?
- You can turn on automatic sales tax for your store. SaturnShift integrates Stripe Tax, which calculates applicable sales tax at checkout based on the tax registrations you have added and your customer’s location. You add your business address and your registrations directly in your SaturnShift account, so you do not need a separate Stripe login to set it up. SaturnShift does not determine where you are required to register, and does not provide tax, filing or accounting advice. Those decisions stay with you and your accountant. - What does my store address look like?
- Your store is published on a SaturnShift store address based on your business name. Custom domains are not part of the current release.
- Can I change the wording after it is written?
- Yes. You can ask for changes in plain English and regenerate, as many times as you need within your daily limit. You can also edit your business details and catalog directly at any time, and those always take precedence over the generated copy.
- Does SaturnShift make up claims about my business?
- No. Generated copy can only describe what you supplied. It cannot state prices, addresses, certifications, licences, guarantees or how long you have been trading unless you entered those details yourself. Prices always come from your catalog.
- What happens when someone buys something?
- They check out through SaturnShift and the payment runs on the same rails as the rest of your account, with the same reporting, refunds and settlement.
